Best Fruit Cake Ever!
1 Cup Butter
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp. Salt
4 Large Eggs
Lemon Juice
1 Cup Dried Fruit
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
Nuts
1 or 2 Quarts of Whiskey
Before you start, sample the whiskey to check for quality. Good isn't it? Now, go ahead--select a large mixing bowl, measuring cup, etc. Check the whiskey again as it must be just right and to be sure the whiskey is of the highest quality. Pour one (1) level cup into a glass and drink as fast as you can. Repeat. With the electric mixer, beat one cup butter in a large fluff bowal. Add the thugar and beat again.
Meanwhile, make sure the whickey is of the finest quality. Try another tup. Open the second quart of whickey if necessary. Add 2 urge leggs, 2 cups of fried druit and beat till high. If druit gets stuck in beaters, just pry it loose with a screwdriver. Sample the whickey again, checking for tonscisiticity. Then sift 3 cups salt or anything--it really doesn't matter. Sample the whickey for quality. Sift 1/2 pint lemon juice. Fold in chopped butter and strained nuts. Add one babblespoon of brown thugar or whater color you can find and wix mell. Grease oven and turn cake pan to 35 degrees. Now pur the whole mess into the cover and ake. Check the whickey again for quality and bo to ged.
